TWO RESEARCH PROJECTS UNDER THE MECO-TECO PROGRAM OF DOST-PCIEERD

Among Mapúa MCL’s collaborations is a research and development project conducted under the MECO-TECO (Manila Economic and Cultural Office – Taipei Economic and Cultural Office) program, an alliance between the Philippines and Taiwan that aims to boost development in investments and cooperation in various industries.

The SECRA Project: Strengthening University-Enterprise Collaboration for Resilient Communities in Asia

Mapúa MCL is part of the three-year SECRA project (Strengthening University-Enterprise Collaboration for Resilient Communities in Asia), which aims to promote the establishment of more resilient communities in Asia through university-enterprise collaboration in its partner countries.

Mapúa MCL obtains 3-star rating from QS

 

After a thorough evaluation covering a wide range of criteria by the QS Intelligence Unit, Mapúa Malayan Colleges Laguna has been rated as a 3 Stars institution by the QS (Quacquarelli Symonds) Rating System.
This year, Mapúa MCL was also awarded the highest possible rating of five stars in the Employability, Online Learning, and Social Responsibility categories. See below for the full summary of QS Stars obtained by the institution this 2024.

Pre-Enrollment Medical Exam for CMET Students (Batch 2020-2021)

All students from Batch 2020 to 2021 from the Mapua-PTC College of Maritime Education and Training (Mapua-PTC CMET) are advised to take note of the following information for their Pre-Enrollment Medical Exam:

The CMET Medical Exam will start on Monday, April 4, 2022, to May 13, 2022.

*Maritime medical guidelines will be followed.

*Results will be provided to the students once available, for pick-up.

*Since the CMET Medical Exam will not require fasting, we highly recommend students to schedule their medical exam during ng weekdays starting at 12:00 PM.

Important Reminders:

    1. Maritime students must bring their vaccination card upon going to Health Metrics. Students without vaccine yet must communicate to CMET office ASAP for further instructions and arrangements.
    2. Kindly present the QR code and any one of the following: (1) valid government ID, School ID, or School Registration on the scheduled date.
    3. Health protocols: Face mask, bring own pen, and if with symptoms, please re-sched until symptoms have cleared.
