Summary of Responsibilities
This position is responsible for spearheading the design development and enhancement of assessment tools. He/she shall ensure reliability and validity of assessment tools. Also, he/she will administer the conduct of examination/assessment.

1. Management Level:
a. Have an appropriate level of knowledge and understanding of the competence to be assessed;
b. be qualified in the task for which the assessment is being made;
c. Have undergone training in:
i.) "Training Courses for Instructors"(IMO Model Courses 6.09)

Simulator Operator
Summary of Responsibilities
The position assists the Maritime Instructor in the proper operation of the Simulator while he/she conducts Laboratory activities, as well as the Assessors while conducting the Assessment, to maintain the proper operational condition of the said equipment, and to avoid delays in the ongoing Activity or Assessment. In charge of Regular maintenance of Bridge Simulator and Engine Room Simulators with proper coordination with IFO.
Minimum Qualifications

Responsible for the proper and safe retrieval and return of Seamanship Laboratory equipment to be used and used in the previous activity or assessment.
