CpE students win as Champion in regional quiz bowl
The 4th Year Computer Engineering (CpE) student representatives from Malayan Colleges Laguna (MCL) emerged as Champions for the Interscholastic Quiz Bowl at the recently concluded CpE Challenge 2016 held at Colegio de San Juan de Letran - Calamba last February 6. ECE and ME programs receive PTC-ACBET accreditation
Malayan Colleges Laguna’s Electronics Engineering and Mechanical Engineering programs were recently granted their certificates of accreditation from the Philippine Technological Council – Accreditation and Certification Board for Engineering and Technology (PTC-ACBET) during the awarding ceremony held at the E.T. Mapúa-PTC CMET and Angkla hold Quiz Bee and Film Showing
Last February 26, 2016, the Mapúa-PTC College of Maritime Education and Training, through the Mapúa-PTC CMET Alumni Association (MPCAA), and in partnership with Angkla, held the Anchor for Excellence Maritime Quiz Bee and Film Showing at the Francisco Balagtas Auditorium at Malayan Colleges Laguna.
Angkla is considered the maritime party in the Philippine government which serves to represent the seafarers, their families, and those associated with seafaring, along with the ones working in shipbuilder positions. In recent years, it has successfully passed a number of laws in the government that aimed to benefit professional seafarers, the maritime students, and the maritime industry.... (full story)
CAS celebrates FLUX Festival 2016
Last February 15-19, 2016, Malayan Colleges Laguna’s College of Arts and Science (CAS) celebrated the CAS Week, dubbed as FLUX Festival 2016. According to its organizers, this year’s theme, Beyond Creative Capacity, aimed to shed light on the students’ creativity and artistic talent.

ETYCB students win major awards at COHREP IV Season 10
A group of Hotel and Restaurant Management and Tourism Management students from Malayan Colleges Laguna (MCL) won major awards from the recently concluded Council of Hotel and Restaurant Educators of the Philippines (COHREP) Region IV Skills Competition held at the Lyceum of the Philippines – Laguna last February 12, 2016.
