MCL Wizards Basketball Team welcomes Coach Juan Augusto Ramirez
Coach John has been playing basketball since he was in grade school up until his collegiate and professional years. He has played for teams such as Purefoods Corp., LBC Batangas Blades, and Shell Inc.
In 2005, he retired from playing and has dedicated his succeeding years into coaching student teams in grade school, high school, and college in various schools in the country. One of the many highlights of his career is being able to serve as an Assistant Coach for the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) alongside well-renowned Philippine basketball icons Benjie Paras, Edi Laure, and Jun Marzan.... Culinary Arts student takes on apprenticeship in the U.S.
They say audacity – our willingness to take bold risks – will take us places that certainty couldn’t. One who knows audacity well enough is I-ExCELL’s Culinary Arts student, Caryl C. Eugenio.
Caryl almost didn’t make it to the Culinary Arts program. She recalls coming in to enroll while the classes were already ongoing for three days. Hailing from Iloilo, with hardly any idea which school in Laguna offered a culinary arts program, she went on to research and found her opportunity at Malayan Colleges Laguna.... (full story)
MCL holds Fire and Earthquake Safety Training
Last February 9, 2016, Malayan Colleges Laguna (MCL) held a Fire and Earthquake Safety Training at the Francisco Balagtas Auditorium. Present during the afternoon were MCL students, staff, faculty members, and administrators.
In his opening remarks, Laboratory Management Office (LMO) Director and Officer for the Risk Management and Business Continuity Office (RMBCO), Prof. Christian Paulo E. Sison thanked all the attendees, acknowledging that their presence, despite their class and work schedules, only goes to show how important the training is for the institution.... (full story)

On any other day, the sight of superheroes roaming around in groups would have seemed bizarre.
Placards in hand, they gathered and walked around the campus, seemingly prepared to battle any evil and save the day. Their identities were pronounced, their individuality evident. MCL partners with Zenith Foods Corporation
Malayan Colleges Laguna, through its Office of External Programs (OEP), recently signed a partnership agreement with Zenith Foods Corporation during the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signing event held at the E.T. Yuchengco Lobby last February 10, 2016.
Zenith Foods Corporation is the manufacturing and supply chain management arm of Jollibee Foods Corporation. The said company has brought some of the country’s leading food chains such as Jollibee, Chowking, and Mang Inasal.... (full story)
ME students enter Shell Eco-marathon Asia 2016
Last January 14, 2016, Mechanical Engineering students, administrators, and staff from Malayan Colleges Laguna were present as the Malayan Team WIZARDS officially introduced KALASAG to the public at the Shell Eco-marathon 2016 University Launch at the E.T. Yuchengco Lobby in MCL. KALASAG, a three-wheeled prototype vehicle, will serve as Malayan Team WIZARDS’ official entry to the Shell Eco-marathon Asia (SEMA) 2016.... (full story)
MCL appoints principal for Senior High School
In June 2016, the Philippines will be embracing a change in its educational system as schools all over the country officially open Senior High School. Malayan Colleges Laguna (MCL) is one of these schools.

LEI director speaks at international leadership summit
Last year, on November 17-18, the Bett Asia Leadership Summit took place at the Marina Bay Sands, Singapore. One of the speakers was Malayan Colleges Laguna’s Prof. Abigail Joy Rodelas-Angelia, Director of Learning Environment and Innovations. She served as co-speaker to fellow education pathfinder, McGraw Hill’s Higher Education Director Mr. Jared Dunn.
