MCL Alumni HOMEBOUND for MCL@10

Life may have moved quite quickly for Malayan Colleges Laguna’s alumni right after graduation but it definitely didn’t cause these young professionals to let go of their alma mater bond just yet. Mapúa-PTC-CMET retains BMI recognition

Malayan Colleges Laguna’s Mapúa-PTC-College of Maritime Education and Training (CMET) programs were once again issued the Belgian Maritime Inspectorate’s (BMI) seal of approval last 2015 during the latter’s annual maintenance audit. In 2014, CMET received the Interim Recognitions from BMI for the STCW-mandated courses required under its BS-MT and BS-MARE programs.... (full story)

MCL bags back-to-back win at the NDAA

He has a sense of confidence in him when he walks into a room. To some, this confidence sometimes comes off as arrogance. When he says hello, it sounds a bit demanding. When he smiles, he makes you feel as though you have to smile back. MCL launches Project ECHO at Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony

December 9, 2015 – Administrators and staff gathered at the Rizal Building Lobby and Airwell for the annual MCL Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony. At four in the afternoon, the crowd started to line up along the Promenade Hall at Malayan Colleges Laguna, as they enjoyed the holiday brownies and refreshments prepared for them. Soon enough, as they were told by emcees Ezekiel Guevarra and Faye Belizario, the guests proceeded to the Rizal Bldg. Lobby for the main program made more significant by the launch of MCL’s Institutional Project for the coming year – Project ECHO, spearheaded by MCL’s Center for Service-Learning and Community Engagement (CSCE).... MCL renews ISO 9001:2008 certification

DNV-GL’s audit visit in November 2015 confirms that Malayan Colleges Laguna’s (MCL) Quality Management System (QMS) remains commensurable to international standards by the renewal of its certification to ISO 9001:2008.... (full story)

MCL bags multiple awards in SLCUAA Cultural Competition

Malayan Colleges Laguna emerged successful in the recently concluded Southern Luzon Colleges & Universities Athletic Association (SLCUAA) Cultural Showdown held at St. Michael’s Colleges of Laguna last December 2, 2015. This was the first time that MCL participated in the SLCUAA cultural presentation competition. The challenge posed to the team was to be number one – a challenge that the MCL representatives triumphed over, as they were hailed champions in four of the six categories plus won a 1st Runner-Up award....
