The MCL 2nd Foundation Week celebration was concluded with the Mr. and Ms. MCL pageant held at the MCL Auditorium on Friday, January 23, 2009 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Ten pairs of MCL students, representing their respective colleges paraded on the stage to showcase their physique, talents, and intelligence.
The contestants presented their individual talent number the Monday prior to the last evening of the Foundation Week. On the final night itself, they showcased themselves in sportswear and formal wear wherein the judges picked the top five pairs.
The top five pairs answered the questions given by the judges. Aside from all these categories, the votes of the audience were given partial percentage on the final decision that led to the announcement of Michele Anne P. Gabatin (ACT) And Mark Cheston A. Prudente (ECE) as the first ever Mr. and Ms. MCL. |
