To uphold MCL's Quality Policy and to support its mission and vision, the Continuous Quality Improvement Office ensures that necessary Quality Management System process are adequately defined, effectively implemented, and continual improvement is maintained.
- Related activities directly affecting students that CQIO is engaged in are as follows:
Taking the initiative in the acquisition of the school's certification or accreditation
Continuous improvement in the implementation of policies and procedures in the entire education process of MCL shall be observed due to the certification of MCL to ISO 9001:2008 and the DNV MA:2004 of the Mapua-PTC CMET Program. CQI Office shall continue to prepare the management system of MCL for further acquisition of possible accreditations for other programs.
- Monitoring implementation of Study Progression and Intervention among students
Students performance during first, second and third long test shall be monitored. Student's who failed to pass in any of the tests shall be assisted and be given an intervention of either tutorial, peer mentoring, and counselling to help him improve his academic performance.
- Meeting customers' needs and satisfaction
Students' Satisfaction Survey shall be conducted to students at random. Results of the survey are discussed during Operations Meeting and actions taken are implemented immediately.
Classroom Teaching Evaluation shall be conducted among students. Results of this activity shall improve the quality of teaching and delivery of classroom instructions.
