A college student’s life at Malayan Colleges Laguna is a mixture of study, play and serve. While exploring the realm of learning with the aid of world-class facilities and top-caliber faculty members and industry professionals, MCL students find time to play and get involved with the activities of the different recognized student organizations whose objectives include creating a sense of balance in the student’s academic life and a break for extra-curricular activities and community service.
This is the backdrop where the Office of Student Services is placed- an office to promote student welfare, active participation to various student activities, and for the support of students’ needs in order to succeed in terms of policies, programs and activities.
The Office for Student Services has started the year with a loud welcoming for the 2010 freshmen students through the traditional FRESHMEN TREAT with the theme: Refresh, Excel and Be Virtuous which sound off the core values of Malayan Colleges Laguna.
The Freshmen Treat 2010 was held last July 24, 2010 at the MCL Track Oval where a stage was constructed for the live band performances. Booths of the different student organizations and professional organizations were also present to welcome and treat the freshmen.

The program started at 4:00 in the afternoon with the opening of the booths, followed by live band performances and parlor games. Most of the freshmen students were present since all classes were suspended already by 4:00 in the afternoon.
Officers of the student council hosted the program that lasted until 9:00 in the evening.
